Noggin Nest

I was so worried that one of my babies would have a flat head. I remember before I was even pregnant with Emma I put a Noggin Nest back in my mom's office because I had heard rumors of them being discontinued and I didn't want to be without.
Well they did get discontinued and I had to use an ugly denim one instead of these new super cute designs. Once they were gone Boppy heard from tons of disappointed customers and finally the re-released this GREAT product.
Ok so now what is a Noggin Nest. This is an infant head support that helps prevent Flathead Syndrome. You have seen the babies that have the flat back of the head or even you might have seen little ones wearing helmets to help correct this problem. Now the common misconception is that the baby has been left to lay by themselves for hours on end and that is why their head is flat but while that may be true in some instances it is not true in all of them.
I have a good friend whose son had to wear the helmet for months and she defiantly didn't leave her baby laying by himself.

The Noggin Nest have a raised "donut" inside if you will that helps keep babies head nice and round and prevents to much pressure on one spot in the back. This can be used in the

  • Carseat
  • Swing
  • Infant Carrier
  • Stroller

They also have slits right where the belts should be positioned so you don't have to worry about this product interfering with your safety belts and they snap into place.

This product gets 2 thumbs up from me. I have used it with 2 of my babies and LOVED IT.. Way better than rolling up wash clothes to keep their heads in place.

Does your bumbo need a makeover

Preggie Drops

How ya feeling today. Not so great, huh...Lots of expectant mommies feel that way. I know I did. Now I never suffered the way my poor sister did but I did just feel really nauseous. Back 7 years ago we found these Preggie Pop's and brought them into the stores. I knew they sold well and we always had repeat customers for them, but it wasn't until I was pregnant with Ms. E that I knew the JOY of a Preggie Pop. When you just can't put anything in your mouth because the thought of food or even brushing your teeth makes you gag, you can rely on a Preggie Pop to make you feel better. I will say that I did feel silly walking around the store with a stick hanging out of my mouth and Preggie Pops heard the cries of mom's and came out with Preggie Drops. Now that is all we carry in the stores.
Preggie Drops or Pops are an all natural remedy for morning sickness (or 24/7 sickness like my sweet sister) This is a drug free method to combat queasiness when pregnant. We carry the sour flavors they are the BEST!!!

One more thing about these little jewels. You can also give them to children who are carsick or chemotherapy patients. These will calm their queasy tummies also.

Preggie Pops are a great inexpensive gift when you just find out a special one is expecting.

Dropper Stopper

The Dropper Stopper. This is very similar to the sippy leash that we used to carry but OH SO MUCH BETTER!!! I found these in 2008 at the ABC show and the manufacture gave me a sample. I loved it so much with Henry that I called and begged for another sample until her product was ready to ship.

We use this when we go out to eat so Mr. H doesn't drop/throw his sippy cup. It is also great at the grocery store. Mr. H loves to throw everything. I really think he just likes for me to play fetch. I am such a germaphobe that once it touches the ground I really don't want to give it back to him. Which in turn makes him so unhappy. The Dropper Stopper saves both of us!

Because of the unique series of snaps on this product you can make it fit any size cup, bottle, binkie, teething toy. It is perfect!

It comes in pink with brown polka dots, blue with brown polka dots, and camo.

They are just $9.99.

Unbelivabowl and Flex Soft Spoon

This is the coolest product. I have tried for WEEKS to get this video to upload. I can't believe it finally worked. YIPEE!!!

Mr. H gets so excited every time I get this bowl out to use. We started with just apple sauce out of it and he did so good feeding himself. He CAN NOT get this bowl off the high chair and believe me he has tried.

As you can see in the video the bowl comes in two parts. There is a base that has the suction cup and then the bowl. You place the base where you want it to stay and then flip down the toggle lever on the top. This creates the suction. Next you line the bowl up on the base and twist to secure it. You can see just how simple it really is. We have put the bowl through the ringer and it has held up great.

The flexi soft spoons are wonderful too. I am always afraid of Mr. H hurting himself when he is self feeding. The tips of this spoon are super soft and I don't have to worry about him injuring his gums. They are also great for when baby first starts to eat solids. You wont hurt them while feeding. Again they are dishwasher save just like the Unbelievabowl.

These are 2 can't miss items. They are both available in Orange, Blue, and Pink.

These bowls will not work on wooden high chairs.

Since I took this video Vital Baby has also released a line of sippy cups. They are truly spill proof. There are 3 different cups.

1. First Cup-so small about 4oz, very light weight and perfect for just getting started

2. 2 Handle cup. Once they get the hang of sipping now we can learn to hold our own cup

3. The straw cup. This is a Great training cup to learn how to drink out of a straw. Drinking out of a straw is very important. You can teach you children to swallow pills (instead of yucky syrup medicine that they don't take well) when they know how to drink out of a straw. Not to mention Mr. H thinks it makes him a big boy.
